Depsite the ICE!

Despite the worst ice storm I can remember hitting this area of Indiana in my lifetime, we have been enjoying the winter and the holidays thus far! The above picture makes my heart... do something crazy. My little girl looks like a young lady in this picture and my little boy cannot really be 5 1/2 already! Oh my! By the way, L. isn't discriminatory about her holidays. She wears her holidays clothes all year along, especially her Halloween clothes. I think she is the only child who has three pair of candy corn decorated pants in her drawer.

Rosy nose and cheeks! It's been quite cold already this year!

Still afraid of Santa? No! ho! ho!

Our annual Santa on Train event! Who needs the mall! We get to see Santa and ride on a caboose all at the same time!

This year it was L.'s turn to top the tree with the star.

Oh lookey here! I got what I wanted for Christmas! We all did! Our new puppy Sissy is wonderful and easily became a new member of the family.

C. and Sissy became pals right away!

More pictures to come soon!

Glad to see that the greatness that is Halloween is adored year round! And don't worry, I'm sure more ice is on the way. ;-)

I hope you didn't encounter any robots on the Santa train. ;)

Sissy is too cute for words! How wonderful to have a dog in the family. Enjoy.
